WAITING grew out of my experience of living in the U.S. on a work visa. I became interested in how immigration, work, and the need for stability can quietly shape our relationships and choices.
The film explores the space between knowing what you want and being ready to act on it — two people caught between love, security, and the lives they want for themselves. I wanted to stay close to their hesitation, silence, and uncertainty: the moments when nothing dramatic happens, yet everything is changing.
